Enjoy a memorable day of steam trains at Woody Bay
The Award Winning Woody Bay Station is an original Lynton & Barnstaple Railway station, opened in 1898, and closed along with the rest of the railway in September 1935. Purchased in 1995, what you can see today is just the beginning of an exciting project to rebuild one of the world’s most famous and picturesque narrow gauge railways; the legendary Lynton & Barnstaple Railway.
The ideal starting point for a two mile round trip through some of the loveliest countryside in North Devon, Woody Bay Station is the place to board our little narrow- gauge train for a journey back in time.
